WORK : IDENTITY DESIGN
Who are you? What makes you different? What are the core values of your company? Is an ostrich egg really the equivalent of 24 chicken eggs? Almost all of these questions should be answered by your brand identity. For example, I am Pete Berthold, and I do design and video work. So what? Well, I'm a Space Ostrich. Now we're talking identity. It is how we express our individuality, even if that individual is an entire corporation.
It is no exaggeration to say you can see thousands of brands in a given day. How many do you see around you right now?
When you and your employees understand your brand there is something more tangible to build on. Branding is the foundation for your company's communications. Whether you are starting a new company, adding a new product line, or updating an old logo, identity design can tie it all together. It is your vision, goals, values, market, and personality all wrapped into a visual cue.
If you're interested in identity design, please feel free to contact me. The process usually involves a good deal of Q&A, the more I learn about your company the better. I also find It useful to "show my work." I'll not only show complete pieces, but the sketches (digital or on paper) that led me there. Often a client will like an idea I have in development as opposed to a completed version.
